I bought a goal book this year

Thought maybe it would help 

With my procrastination

I bought a planner this year

Thought maybe I could write down

All the reasons why 

I just can’t get it together

‘cause it’s back into that same old cycle

I still haven’t figured it out

I get stuck inside this stupid spiral

Need to let go of control to grow

It’s always kind of painful

For a while I’ll be doing okay
